Structural Validation
Deterministic verification of syntax, stable identifiers, and valid graph target references.
Deterministic Validation Rules
Structural validation checks machine rules with 100% certainty. Structural issues must be fixed for a specification to be considered conformant UXDL 0.1.
Enforced Structural Checks
- Unsupported format version (must be 0.1).
- Duplicate screen or action identifiers in same module.
- Invalid identifier syntax (must match ^[a-z0-9][a-z0-9_]*$).
- Broken parent reference (modal or sheet pointing to non-existent host screen).
- Broken target screen reference in relation ('to: screen_id' does not exist).
- Broken target state reference in relation ('state: state_id' does not exist on target screen).
- Multiple destination forms rule (declaring both 'to' and 'external' in same relation).
